how do you reset your ip address for a wireless connection or even get connection?

for some reason my computer wireless connection is gone but it still detects it but the ip is bad, usually i can put it for automatic setting but now i need to put the ip addresses manually, but it also says that the computer that is connected to the modem is using the same ip as me i dont know y. the wap keys/permissions are a good but i still cant connect, i reset my computer and turned if off, checked the connections internaly and externaly...but im still needing to put the ip,subnet, dns manually, the main computer is good, its just my computer is loosing connection constantly or not getting any than before

Have u get ip address auto before, then dhcp service may be disable on ur other computer. Since the other computer using the same ip u can't use that ip. change it on ur computer. that will solve ur problem. someone has changed ip on ur other pc or its put in dhcp. Try to put a manual ip address on other pc.

You need to set a different address, you have obviously chosen one that is already in use. Pick another one that is outside the dhcp pool of addresses.
