tell someone that they didn't need to say that they loved you but wanted them to be close to you so that they can see how real love can be?

love is not a matter of distance, it's a matter of trust... Love is not a matter of proving how much you love the person, love is unmeasurable and always unconditional... We love because that's what we feel, but we don't have to expect them to love us the way we love them

NO I like to be told all the time I am loved. I always say Love you to my kids and they say they love me now that is real love when you love someone as much as you do your kids!!!!
