Why do you think your arm was raised w/out you knowing about it, while you were sleeping? [until realizing of course when u woke up?]
hmmm, ... have heard about this a few times but kinda STRANGE, what does it MEAN exactly?
and why in the world would this HAPPEN when naturally one's whole body is asleep, resting ??

pls no silliness, I'm serious. would this relate to anything spiritual per chance?

This has HAPPENED to me at least once. I just get drowsy and nod off in a FUNNY position and my forearm is sticking straight up. What does it MEAN? Nothing, really.

I have heard of sleep walking, sleep talking and rolling around while asleep, so it doesn't surprise me that someone could have his hand in the air while sleeping. I would imagine, like the other events I mentioned, it has something to do with dreaming because they are all unconscious body movements.

Why makes you think it would be something spiritual? I thought on that for a little while and I can see no angle how this could be a spiritual event.

Lol. Diane says I do that all the time. She will wake up and I'm fast asleep with my whole arm straight up in the air. Other times she wakes up and my hand is just above her face and I am wiggeling my fingers, still sound asleep. I have also woken up propped up on my elbow. Not with my head on my hand type of propped up. Laying on my side propped up at a 45 degree angle type of propped up.

Actually, I have woken up with my arms up in the air. My guess is I unconcsciously moved them there. Almost like sleep walking. Try taping yourself with a camera and see how much you actually move around in your sleep. It's a lot!

Peace

I'm not a paranormal.
But i sometimes experience "fell from the air."
it's horrible, and almost gave me a heart attack.
it's like i fell to a cliff or something, then i woke up falling to my own bed...
Scary..

Thanks for the explaination from King Richard. I think i shouldn't worry anymore.

For tsr21, that's called STRESSING.
It means that the UPPERCASE has some meaning or important.

It is not paranormal!

A person does not stay still when they sleep!

Have you ever seen a puppy or Dog run and bark when they are asleep?

People tend to do the same thing when they are dreaming, we just don't remember all of our dreams!

the same thing happend to me, except it was both my arms. i had just seen a spirit before i fell asleep, i started to wake up and it felt like someone was holding my arms up. i opened my eyes and there was no one there, i don't know if it was because i was scared or what but it took a sec. to bring my arms down. strange i don't know why a ghost would want to hold my arms up!

Just to say to jeffrompa on the occasions you just mentioned, I can tell you that what you experienced was an outer body experience - I have many of them, nothing to worry about.
