Yes, although it's a bit formal for some situations. You'll need a comma after "we," and "occasion" and "Christmas" are misspelled in your sentence.

If you want to know whether the sentence you have written is correct, then I have the following to offer:
-this sentence is not complete, and I suppose you don't want us to complete it.
-occasion is the correct spelling (not occassion)
-I would suggest addition of a comma after the words We (with capital W, if it is the first word in the sentence) and after Christmas (again with a capital C).
