You don't care how many chinese kids slave away to make your shoes or how many Iraqi mothers died for your tank of gas. You don't care and neither do I. If we did care, we'd do something more than babble on a computer.

What a nut case!If the Chinese kid didn't "slave away" he would have nothing to eat! If the Iraqi mothers son hadn't put a bomb in the restaurant, pleassse! What do you propose? Mass kool-aid suicide or blasting off to "Heavens gate" with quarters in our pockets after some strychnine laced pudding? We care allot! And it's Not "fine by me" that anyone should suffer, however that is life and all we can do is try to find a way to live and help our brother man along that road too, fighting and wars and selfishness and peace and generosity are all part of life. We make the best choices we can.

So how many of those chinese kids would otherwise be forced to earn a salary by other means, such as prostitution; were they not making my Nikes? And Iraqi mothers dying for my tank of gas? In case you hadn't noticed, but the iraqi's aren't exactly back on a production schedule for the oil industry just yet...we get that stuff from the blood sucking kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Sorry, but the guilt trip doesn't work with me. If you are so guilty of participating in capitalism; then turn off your computer, sell your XBox, your computer, your iPod and whatever else you own, give the money to charity, pack your meager belongings and go live in the mountains like a hermit and live off the land.
Until you do that shut the F U C K up and consume like everybody else.

are you serious... well i guess you are kind of right, but some of us do care.. like those of us who are deployed and actually doing something good for the country. First off sure they are making us things in china, but we are also paying them for it, their country is not a 3rd world country. Iraq mothers die because their people do not care about them and they dont care who dies in the process of trying to get us out. The other night we carried 35 wounded Afghani's to our hospital because one of THEIR people decided to blow themselves up. You may be proud to be a murderer, but i think you have some issues, maybe you should go see a psyciatrist.
