"Phantasm"...I saw it on the big screen at the movies in the '70's and didn't sleep for weeks!

Most of them have given you the correct answer, "Phantasm" (1979).
Did you know that there are three more with practically the same cast~at least Reggie Bannister (the balding ponytail guy) and Angust Scrimm (The Tall Man)? Michael Baldwin, who plays Michael, isn't in the second one (played by another person then); but, he is in the third and fourth ones, as is Bill Thornbury, who plays Michael's big brother. The very scary spheres are in all of them! The sequels are: "Phantasm II", "Phantasm III: Lord of the Dead", and "Phantasm IV: Oblivion". A fifth film is supposed to be released in 2008.

pantasim spelling might be wrong but right movie it scarred the hell out of me when i was a kid funny i was just telling my kids about it last week
