I don't think you mean evaporate. Melts or dissolves maybe. The newer environmentally freindly kind are made from starch and dissolve in water. Just lick one oand you will see.
The other plastic foam kind melt with several chemicals like gasoline or paint thinners or nail polish remover which has acetone.
