In a Marx Brothers Movie (A Day at The Races ??), played by Harpo for only a few stanza's. A decisive, thunderous beginning to piece. Also used by the Rock Group, Renissance (with Annie Haslam), from album Prologue, song with same piano stanza's used in the beginning of their piece titled, Kiev.
Does anyone know this classical piano piece, the full title and composer?

Hi! It's Rachmaninoff's Prelude In C-Sharp Minor.

Just a guess, I'm afraid, as I haven't seen the movie for years and don't know the other piece. But if it's called Kiev, it sounds like it could be The Great Gate of Kiev from Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition, available both as a piano suite and in an orchestral version.

Try the Internet Movie Database (imdb.com). They list the soundtrack of most movies. For A Day at the Races, they don't list any song that sounds correct. Perhaps it's a different film you're thinking of.
