Oh yes. San Francisco weather is perfectly suited to leave the windows open!

Yes. I live in a pretty quiet neighborhood (with exception of passing trains!) so there's hardly any noise when I sleep. My room is on the second floor of a two-story house so I feel safe leaving my window open. I would not do so if I were on the first floor. Also, I like to have fresh air to circulate my room!

At one stage I was in a suicidal depression and could not sleep. A "friend" bought me full strength everclear with absinthe to flavor it. This was supposed to help me sleep. It did not even after 6 or seven glasses at bedtime. I would sit by the open window and watch the little night visitors fly in and out. I found a poor little dead one and cried for hours. I looked for it to bury it in the morning but could not find it hope I did not throw it out of the window, that would have been cruel.

in the summer. My friend isn't allowed to.His mom thinks there is a "midnight sniper" that shoots people who don't close their blinds and windows at night.Shes insane though.we're hoping she dies before the summer.
