I got lost and couldn't remember the things that trully made me smile and happy in life, can you ever forgive me?

Something terrible, i went to school aS usual but my three friends actually skip school together but never tell me.And todays attendance was just a pass,16 out of 30 came only

You mean this morning, well that'a a long story.
But if you have time, I'll try to explain.:
This morning I had to go to Walmart to get dry dog food.
Well, they had this really good price on a 50 lb bag of Dog Chow,
so I wrestled it into my buggy and got a few other things & proceeded to a check out.
I got in line behind this woman & her horrible little kids.
They were fussing, fighting driving us all crazy with their whinning.
They were really getting on my nerves.
The lady behind me decided to strike up
a conversation with me.
"Oh, my, do you have a dog?" she asked.
"No", I replied, " I'm getting this for my diet, but, I don't really know if I should try it again."
This woman really looked puzzled, tilted her head and gave a little shrug,
"Why? Was there a problem before? What kind of diet?"
The woman in front of me was still struggling with these same bratty kids and the woman behind me was also getting to me.
I really shouldn't have picked today to go to Wal-Mart, but alas, here I was.
"Well," I began, "The last time I was on this diet I lost about 70 pounds, it was great, and it's really such an easy diet to follow."
There were others in this line and they seemed to be intrigued with my diet story and I continued, "anyway, you just fill your pockets up with the dog chow and when you get hungry you just pop one or two into your mouth for a snack, they are totally nutritious."
"So, why were you having problems?" asked this man behind the lady that asked about a dog.
"Oh, that, well the last time I went on this diet, I ended up in the hospital, with an IV in each arm and tubes coming out of every orfice in my body and.."
The woman with the kids turned around and asked, "Hon, was it the dog food that poisoned you? Is that why you ended up in the hospital?"
"Oh, No, not at all. I stepped off the curb to sniff an Irish Setter's behind and a truck hit us both."
I thought the man in line behind the other lady was going to have a heart attack from laughing so hard.
The clerk could barely contain herself, I paid for my stuff and left.

So many things that the story will make a fine book for me to write someday in the near future,,unless I find that it has all already been said by someone else.
