Watching Stephen Harper over the last few days, I feel as though the Canada I once loved is gone. His arrogance
is so repugnant. His atitude is disgusting. His agenda
parallels the Bush administrations. I can't watch the Canadian news anymore. We have changed. We are becoming a right wing, puritanical, repressive society that is so much like the US. It is too depressing. We have lost everything that makes us Canadian. We will never be the same canada again.

When Stephen Harper visits your Country, please go out and protest.
If Canada has stopped caring about our country's direction...(excessive military build up and no action on environment) maybe people in other countries can send him a message.

I hope not Gordo. Maybe this just a phase. Maybe when the Liberal Party unites and proves to Canada that they govern from the Middle, and have cleaned up their act, the Conservatives will lose. I guess all we can do is hope.
Also, the media has to stop bashing the Liberals all the time. They are only hurting Canada.

You think you have problems? The USA has problems too. Bush is better than Hillary Rodham-Clinton, though I believe Obama will win in the primary and succeed in the general election, its just frustrating to listen to her campaign tarts all the time - the threat is there until she is out of the race. The hell of all hell. Run for an office and change things, it's the only way to do it.

We have an outdated political system. It needs to be rebuilt.
In Ontario we just re-elected a man that has already identified his word is meaningless.
Politician need to be held accountable to their words an actions.
Voter turn-out is constantly on the decline because nobody believes anymore; politicians lie, lie, lie and then give a nice cushy job to a friend; make one a judge, the other an ambassador...
When was the last time they actually did anything good.

Don't feel so bad. I feel the SAME way about living HERE- in the U.S.!!! How 'bout we join forces & move to Mexico?! Our Dollars would go a LONG way- there, & since we don't understand Spanish- the Mexican Government could say whatever it pleased, & it wouldn't bother us! :)
