Someone I know is going through a really difficult time, and I miss him so much and wish I could do something to help him through this, but I can't, this is something he has to do on his own. I hate feeling so unhelpful.

tishajan: thanks you, I'm really sorry that you are going through a rough spot, I like the sayings "What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger" or "God never gives you more s.hit than you can handle."

You know, everyone is different. Some people need to share with the world, some need to keep it all in. Rest assured that if you tell him, you miss him, you're there for him... that is all he needs to hear from you and that is all you can do. I am sure he is highly appreciative of your support (even if it's from the sideline).

Best of luck - it'll all work out in the end!!!

I think you are being very mature about the entire situation and wise to stay out of it. Meditate/pray for him, and then meditate/pray for yourself. Trust that things turn out the way they are supposed to. You are a good person and everything will be fine. Have faith! :)
