WWIII...a.k.a. The Silent War...one would think not, but there are too many opportunities for growth, as ironic as that may sound. If you want to make an omlet, you have to brake some eggs. war is good for business, sad but true. WWIII is taking place everywhere, not because of 9/11, that just became the scapegoat, the excuse. WWIII is the deadliest of all. Because it involves us all. War is not a military characteristic. It's a war of the minds with "Silent Weapons". Bullets you can't feel, but will attack the mind. Fear is the secret weapon. Silent weapons for silent wars...

In my younger days I would have said yes. This was because living through the Cold War we were always on the brink. Today I am not so sure anymore. Many countries are moving towards market economies. As this occurs the standard of living rises and the traditional causes of war diminish. What I believe we will see going forward is numerous limited conflicts of the type we have seen since the end of World War II. However, let nuclear or biological weapons fall into the wrong hands and all bets are off.

Some people think WWIII started on 9/11. Some people think it began before that.

so far as "taking factors" (and you won't like this), i could stand arm and arm with Israel...to combat with the Israelis' and their land, because of the fact Israel is a rustic which will exist undefeated and undefeatable the two now and continuously. Israel, or, greater in the present day, Jerusalem, would be the very place the place Christ Himself will set up His Throne for a "millennium" (one thousand years), and Rule the worldwide for one thousand years of longed-for and badly mandatory "peace". And, No, i'm no longer a "Jehovahs' Witness" or something like that...i'm a degreed Theologian who only believes in the Bible (the be attentive to God) and all that it says and prophesies. Israel is a "usa" back (in view that 1948) in accordance to Bible prophecy, and could proceed to be an "undefeated" usa the two now, and till the non-public return of Christ, the place he's going to take a seat down and Rule for a whole millennium. it is so trouble-free as that.

Globally?...No. With the hundreds of thousands of media outlets, and public access to said outlets, the "fear" factor will prevent any nuclear holocaust.
That being said, there's still room for some idiot fanatic to step over the line...bringing the wrath of the Superpowers down upon them. U.S.A., U.S.S.R., and China will maintain order for the time being....but it's communist China that I'd be wary of.....

If a real WW III happened, I'm afraid it would be nuclear. Russia is beefing up on missiles and is upset with the US. So who knows what could happen or when?

I thought the world was going to end this September with a giant astiroid hitting the earth. Or was that Dick Chaney going postal? I can never keep my doomsday times straight anymore.

Einstein once said "I don't know what type of technology the Third World War will be fought with, but the Fourth will be fought with sticks and stones..."
