i know, i know, its a dumb question but whatever, what do you guys think or does anyone have any real rough estimate of what it could be like a mechanic?

Not sure what it is now but back in the 80's, when I worked at GM dealers, we had a factory rep that stated most GM cars had an average of 16,000 separate components to build them including all the little electronic parts like resistors, capacitors, diodes, pins, screws, nuts, ball bearings and such. It's probably double that today with the increase in compexity and more computers.

The body is the shell,the body is mounted to the chassis,the drive train(engine,trany,rear end,shocks,springs,brake system,A-member)are mounted to the chassis in one way or another.Then theres the wiring,which makes most of these components all work together
