Similarities and differences between the two? I'm finding it hard to find anything that I can actually comprehend, so can someone explain it to me in simpler terms? Thanks!

social darwinism has almost nothing to do with actual science of evolution, and even less to compare it with creationism. You are talking apples and oranges here.
