I being a pakistani, wazz shocked to hear abt this. It was midnite at that time and we were all sleeping when we got a fone call frm distant relatives telling us about the two blasts that happened in karachi. we were shaken up and hurriedly turned on the tv to see all news channels reporting about the sad and tragic event. this was no suicidal attack, it was either done by the militatry dictators of pakistan who are opponents of democracy and don't like to see ppl happy. just a while ago the ppl of pakistan were bursting with joy at bhutto's arrival. ppl frm all over pakistan had travelled to karachi just to welcome bhutto. i m sure this wazz a preplanned game of the govt or the intelligence agenicies. it cant be a suicide attack becz one man can't carry such heavy explosives and firepower. it was a deliberate act done by those who cant resist the idea of bhutto being welcomed so nicely. seriously, innocent ppl hav died and wat has the govt gained from all this? the extremists can go to any extent in order to support themselves, they dont care abt the innocent lives lost in such blasts. just look at the planet we live on. WARS, BLOODSHED AND HATRED. Its undoubetdly true that bhutto was the target and its such a luck that she survived this nasty game and reached her home safely. had bhutto been killed yesterday it would hav been even a greater tragedy. well lets hope that all stays well in the coming dayz.
its just unbeleiveable!

Because Bhutto, like Musharraf, is supported by the Bush Administration. And Bush is a VERY Bad 4-letter word among many of the people who want militant Islamic rule in Pakistan. Cause enough upheaval across the Country- & the whole Govenment there could Collapse & be taken over by Extremists... (which is one of the LAST things Bush wants to see happen- so close to Iraq...)

This happens when you're dealing with extremists. The opponents of Ms Bhutto will do everything to stop her from coming to power, including killing innocent people, because they think that a woman could not handle a nation. Beside, Ms Bhutto's opponents are extremists, so they will go all out to go against democracy.

relies upon on how long the conflict lasts. Pakistan is plenty better. Has better inhabitants and common uncooked factors. If Israel won't be able to stress a renounce in weeks, it truly is doomed. even though it has greater advantageous armament and conflict hardened troops, greater nukes and greater advantageous transport device.

Maybe because the extremists are not clever enough to put their objections to her into words. Not clever or confident enough to fight her in an election. Maybe because they secretly know that their views are too warped to be accepted by the majority.
They are cowards and they are bullies.

Years of dictatorship caused an increasingly polarised nation and politically unstable region. The only positive aspect is the next democratically elected government will be largely liberal

Because fanatical moslems believe that a woman should not be in politics, that one who is is an Infidel, and deserves to be murdered as one.

while watching her return to Pakistan on TV yesterday I had an awful gut feeling that some nutters would try to pull something off.
HOW can we deal with militant muslims when they blow their own people up!!
They dont try to achieve anything mate because their stupid brainwashing religion does not let them think for themselves!
Sick b astards.
You cant deal with scum who wanna blow themselves up because Bhutto wants Pakistan to become democratic and progressive........
the sort of IDIOTS who protest in the streets over cartoons they have never seen!
And I dont want to hear 'Islam is a peaceful religion'.......how is it?? 120 people dead????? hundreds injured???

"In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Compassionate".
*****Certainly sympathizers of Lal masjid are behind this. I am 100% sure. Since Benazir and her PPPP and Altaf Hussain and his MQM they supported lal masjid operation, so their parties and their leaders will be the target.*****
Suicide bombings can be stop easily all we have to develop is good intelligence, good law enforcement agencies, good people police relationship (People can be the greatest spies of police in order to stop such terrorism), tightens the checking in trains and city to city buses & if President Musharraf step down then this suicide bombings will either get less or will be fully over. But if Benazir comes this suicide bombings will not be stop and “Khuda na khuasta” Mushrraf and Benazir both join to form a single government then we should be ready for uncountable suicidal attacks.
After supporting USA Pakistan got the pleasure of SUICIDE BOMBINGS:
