I remember even back in grade 8 (where students were 13-14 years old) the teachers told all the students of there is a bully bullying you, or cussing at you, you are supposed to report it to the teacher or adult in the school.

I think this is the exact opposit of what you should do, telling on a teacher from a bully will get you picked on even more, and more people will think you are a wussy little snitch. The truth is, only way to counter this is to take care of it yourself, tough it out. You always expierence a bully one time in your life.

Why do teachers insist on telling students this? It only gets them picked on more.

bullying is oftentimes cases no longer a concern that youngsters can manage...i think of that particular circumstances call for a baby to handle it themselves, yet bullys are relentless and don't stop regardless of the form you manage it.....i grew to become into bullied often and tried many diverse procedures of coping with it and not something worked....till i've got been given adults in touch, which does take a definite volume of bravery.....my son grew to become into getting bullied in kindergarten....there grew to become right into a boy, plenty better than him that should constantly punch him interior the stomache....it did no longer stop till an person grew to become into advised and started helping to maintain him faraway from the bully.....a kindergartener can't be a wimp...

You should report a bully to your teacher. The teacher is required to inform the Principle who will take care of the bully. Schools are to have zero tolerance when it comes to bully's.

the reason being its the teachers job to protect the students. they need to know when someone feels threatened so tht the threat can be removed.

i know for a fact handling a bully yourself actually makes it worse i stood up to this one girl who was a grade below me who called me lesbo teachers slave whore slut you name it
i am straight i was in good favor with my teachers and i was 100%pure i was a virgin.

turned out she was those things not me. she was bullying me to cope with serious sexual abuse at home. she was also a lesbo. she had alot of problems i was tortured for weeks by her. when i stood up to her i got suspended. when i came back 3 days later she was dead she committed suicide. tragic i blamed myself for awhile because just maybe if i hadnt stood up to her she would still be here, but shes no longer being hurt either

the day i was told she died i told the teacher everything
