Nope.
You have to have life experience to hold an office. Ask a 13 year old what to do about civil unrest in Urtusk....
What will his answer be?

I am unable to agree with this theory. At least as far as politics in the States go. I fully understand that children in different countries and cultures may be more advanced than those currently here in the States are. Today, children are less mature than their parents at the same age. Now, there are always the exceptions to the rule, but overall, children here are far less mature than their parents.
However, even with the most mature teenager, a teenager still has a developing brain. Add to this that feeling of invincibility and we have a recipe for disaster. Children simply do not think they will die, or that bad things will only happen to others, never to them.
Teenagers, regardless of how advanced they may be, are still developing, and maturing. They are not able to have a wide world view, and the one they do form at this age is very brittle and inflexable. They often get into a rut of thinking they have all the answers and resist any information which could show them their mistakes, and they seldom grow from mistakes until they are into their twenties. We see teenagers making the same mistakes again and again, until finally their braines have developed enough to allow them a wider world view.
I know that I held some rather radical beliefs which were totally inflexable in my late teens and early twenties. I thought I had all the answers and my morals were fixed. Well, my morals may not have changed much since my youth, but my practical understanding of the world has undergone some radical changes. I know understand some issues far better than when I was younger, and have changed my political party. I never would have believed I would do so back in my twenties.
One gift of aging is our ability to learn and grow as we gain wisdom. Wisdom is the only thing which makes up for the loss of our youthful bodies! lol
I would never wish to go back in time and trade what I now know for a more youthfull hard body. I might miss my young self sometimes, but I find life far more interesting now than then. Life was very straight forward, and very structured for all that I was young. As we grow we become more flexable, rather than more rigid. It is this flux which is so valuable, and irreplacable.
I do not believe teenagers, let alone children, would be capable of making informed decisions. Add to this the fact that children are the most cruel creatures on the planet, and we would constantly be in a state of war. Far worse than what we find ourselves in today. Children and teens simply do not have the ability to see the world as it is, or to make adjustments and compromises as necasary. Children see in black and white and there is little room for changing of the mind.
So, no, I think it would be disasterous to put children and teens in charge of politics.

No, most adults have a very small knowledge and understanding of politics and kids have less. But usually, kids are the perfect tool of shady politicians to advance their agendas.

it truly is approximately time, as a be counted of coverage, yet i think of the outcomes are noticeably non existent. in spite of everything, what share boys do you be attentive to of scouting age (11-17) that are relatively out? except they attend the highschool from glee, maximum men do no longer come out till later in existence. Edit: @Ozzie: properly reported. i think of you nailed it.

This of course depends upon their maturity level and their knowledge of politics.

well i like that the kids can vote in "fake" elections. it gives them the opportunity to research the best candidates for them and it helps them to feel empowered and that the future is something they can TAKE A PART IN
