I’m interested to learn the locations of any current or planned Costco’s stores in Australia. Do you know any such stores, and if you do, can you please give detailed description of them, including location, any specifics about them and how you came by the information? I’m also interested to learn if the savings will be different in scale within the Australian outlets compared to those overseas. You’re welcome to contact me via the links on my Yahoo! Answers profile page if you have information you don’t want to publish here.

I do read answers thoroughly so if someone gives a good answer and you think you can do better don’t be put off – I will read everything before choosing a best answer. Many thanks for any information you can provide!

....although they plan to open its first stores in Australia within a year. Initially two stores are expected to open, but Costco has not yet revealed where these will be.

Costco has announced that it will be opening a location in Australia in 2008. I personally love Costco. It's the only place you can buy a casket, new tires, and fresh fuit, all at the same time. If it opens by you, you must try it out. High quality products at great prices.
