Mormons men do not marry more than one wife. You have been misinformed. Mormons believe polygamy is only acceptable on very rare occasions when God authorizes it (i.e. Abraham, Issac, Jacob, etc.). Otherwise, monogamy is the rule. Because God commanded Mormons to stop practicing polygamy in 1890, Mormons believe that modern-day polygamists are acting contrary to God's will. Even in cultures where polygamy is acceptable (some Muslim countries, for example), Mormons NEVER have more than one wife.

Just thought I'd let you know... Mormons cannot have more than one wife at a time. Plural marriage used to be practiced at one time, but the practice ended more than 100 years ago. (I guess no one told you?)
Also, the practice was only permitted under certain circumstances. I don't recall the exact figures, but I believe that less than 3% of the Church practiced plural marriage.
Personally, I don't think I would be able to handle living with more than one wife; it would be a challenge to make sure that everything you say and do doesn't favor one wife over the others. It takes a special kind of man, as well as special women, to make it work.

Muslims can have 4 wives at any one time but there are certain rules and restrictions to taking more than one wife!
I'm a Muslim and while I won't say that I am against the polygamy rule, my personal principle is that if you want someone else other than me, you can't have me.

First off it wasn't God who gave a commandment to have more then one wife. In the Muslim religion they can only have more then one wife IF they are able to provide for them. In the Mormon religion I don't know much on their views of it. But your question leads me to think that it is one more of lust then love or caring.

We can't have more than one wife. I know I can't, cause I'm a female--type person!
But, it could work. Provided, of course, as you said, the man can handle more than one wife.

No. But I would like to have more than one husband. Brad Pitt, Tom Brady, Wentworth Miller. That would rock!
