Bostonians drop final (word or syllable) r's, not r's that are part of compound sounds like the r in truck.
Pahk ya cah in Hahvahd yahd" is the classic example for this.
They also corrupt final a's in a weird way.
Korea is pronounced career, but career often sounds like Korea.
Go figyah.

The Boston accent is not so simple as "drop all the Rs". They say "Truck" just like most people in the northeast.

Bostonians only drop the "r" when it is at the end of a word as in "car". They pronounce truck the same as others

JFK talked about problems in "Cuber" in the Caribean. But he went to "Hahvahd." The "R" is dropped at the end of a syllable.
