Personnaly, I oppose it because I believe that there is a value in life no matter what. It is not moral to abort a kid on our will, how can we decide the fate of the new life. we should be responsible for our action and act in goodwill. when a lady abort a child, that lady's health will be affected badly,it is really pitiful, the more pitiful thing is killing a life . I hope that we should take precaution if we really do not want a kid,not until a new life is already inside the womb then thinking aborting it.

Every woman has a right on her body and a right to choose about her life. In difficult situations like very young girls that have no help at all and do not wish to have a child yet I think that abortion is necessary.
I oppose abortion when a couple is married, everything is going well between them and they have the abortion because they just don't want another child.
In any case every woman must a have the right to choose.

I oppose it, yet I do not think the government should have any right to make it illegal.

Edit: Hmm... Looking at the other responses and thumbs ups and downs I think I may have been misunderstood.

I personally would not chose an abortion for any woman I got pregnant if I were given the choice. However I am pro-choice.

It's not right for me, but that doesn't mean it's not right for someone else. Therefore I think the government should keep it's nose out of our private business in this case.

You're not really asking the question the right way. Almost no one actually "favors" abortion, as in, thinks its a good idea and wants to do it all the time. A better question is "Do you support the idea that women should be allowed to make decisions about their own bodies, and thus should be allowed to have abortion done on themselves, or do you think that the possibility that a fetus may be a living, sentient, human being is sigificant enough that the rights of the fetus to live outway the rights of the mother?" Or, another way of saying it is, "Do you think that women should have the right to determine their own morality with respect to their own bodies, or should the state decide for them?" But really, the only question you're really asking is "Do you think that the government should decide if a fetus is in a class that grants it rights similar to those we grant living humans, specifically, the right to continuation (under the support of the mother it is inhabiting)?"

personally, i think that medical science has yet to provide any sort of compelling reason to believe that first-trimester babies are necessarily human, and thus the decision should be left the mother (as part of her right to make all medical decisions with regards to her own body).

some people dont think before they answer a question..now why would a baby conceived from a rape be any different from a baby conceived otherwise..its still a baby isnt it! A deformed baby is still a baby!! isnt it!! So if your against it why say this?It doesnt make sense does it! for the people who oppose completely..are not thinking about the life of the mother ..just the baby..women have the right to choose what is best for them.It is no one elses buisness or choice.Ive seen too many children born into this life not wanted neglected abused etc..orphanages full of unwanted and unloved babies and children.lets not judge another until we are walking in their shoes.Im in favour of supporting the descions made in everyones best interest.(Viability is the time at which the unborn human can live outside her mother's womb.)

i think every woman should have the right to choose. we should not be able to choose for her, we do not know the situation at hand. i dint like it, i have done it and the person lives with enough guilt about it already to be ridiculed. i think abortion in the first 3 months should be legal. anything after that is b.s. it does not take you 6 months to figure out you want to terminate the pregnancy. look at it this way you end up pregnant and know you are in no way reay to take care of a baby emotionally or financially should you abort or raise a kid on tax payers dollars that you may resent? yes you say birth control, but it does not always work!

Favor it. A woman has the right to choose. However I do oppose partial birth abortion. But when in the begining (zygote) stage its not even person yet. Its no more alive than say a sperm. Meaning it is not murder.

personally i would never be able to get an abortion and i am personally against them
BUT
i dont think it is the governments choice to tell you what to do with you kid b4 it fully develops. plus i believe those who would get an abortion don't deserve a child and could cause more damage by keeping it and not properly caring for it while pregnant.

Generally I'm opposed to abortion.

But sometimes there are genuine reasons for it.

For example if the unborn or birth is likely to cause the mother to die or something if she doesn't have the abortion.

I do not give either choice my "blanket" approval. I think this is a thing that should be looked at on a "case by case" basis and the choices should be made based on the particular situation. For the most part I do not approve of it,,,but there are circumstances that do call for it to be done sometimes.
