there is a good chance your baby would survive, she would be considered a premature baby and would have to stay in the hospital a little longer for evaluations to make sure she is breathing ok on her own, stuff like that.
worrying about going into labor now and losing her is not necessary, you will just drive yourself nuts. its not common to happen so hang in there and she will be here soon, but not too soon!

Dont be scared, at 31 weeks with intensive care, its amazing what they can do. I have twin brothers that were born at 27 weeks. This was 23 years ago also. And they are perfectly fine. Things have came so far since 23 years ago. But dont stress yourself out thinking about stuff like that. Everything will be great!!!

absolutly not! If you had her RIGHT at this second, her chances of survival are GREAT! After 28 weeks I think its like 90% survival rate. She would of course have to spend time in the NICU and probably have a bit of a battle in front of her, because she would still be very small, but she would MORE than likely live! Calm down mommy, it will be alright!

My son turned 3 in Aug (He wasn't due until the 24th of Oct). He was born at 29 weeks. Although he had a lot of issues, he received wonderful treatment and is now completely healthy and active. The treatments that they have for preemies now is phenomenal. My son actually received caffeine in his IV. It helps preemies to stimulate their brains and helps them remember to breath, cutting back on apnea episodes.
