I have PID?

Question

I recently went to the doctors and found ou that i have Pelvic Inflammatory disease, I have heard that it can cause infertility, does anyone know a bit more about it????

It can cause infertility if left untreated (antibiotics are used to treat the infection) by causing scar tissue to grow on the uterus and ovaries and tubes (had to read up about it once when someone asked me if they thought I might have it).
