This is great question. I say follow your gut feeling I am personally a chevy fan. But I think it is what you grew up with. I always grew up with chevy. I know how to work on them and that is the best part savin some dollas on it when it needs fixed. They all break down. Pick what you know how to work on that is I guess why I have always owned chevy over ford and have grown relatively close to always having one. They all run good any more. But if it is an older one I always found chevy to be less complicated. They can all run good with the right tlc

Ford is better. The only cool Chevy is the Vette, and they cost too much for the average car guy. Plus Fords are more reliable, see the link below. Sorry Chevy boys, can't argue with the facts.

uh there should only be people saying chevy here on this question seeing how its listed under CHEVROLET but i guess those fOrD owners get lost and dont know what there doing sometimes. Chevrolet is better than ford hands down.

chevy all the way i love the tri-five bel-airs and the '58 through '04 impalas and the the '67 through '02 camaros & firebirds. anything but ford because most if not all fords are found. on. road. dead. period

chris s say's chevy, that fords are found on the road dead lol,, well all i can say to that is my 85.000$ 1972 ford pantara will never be found on the side of the road dead,,,,,,,,,,
now chevy puts out a hell of a good machine as well, i have had very little problems with either, and chevy hi po parts are more redaly avalible,, easier to build as well,,,,,,so my awnser is both,,,,,,,,,,,

I used to say Chevy or Ford, but now I say Toyota or Nissan...Why? because most Chevy & Ford vehicles are made in Mexico! Check it out; even the new Chevy Silverado truck and the new Lincoln Zepher, both made in Mexico! Most Toyota and Nissan vehicles are now made in the USA! Go figure.

After about 35 years of owning multiple car brands, I have always liked Ford. They are better then anyone else.
