First off, you do not need to separate "business's ethics" from "ethics". All ethics are some sort of business ethics, it's just a matter of what business you are in. (this includes dating, family etc. "business" is interchangable with "desires")
Ethics are strategies based on the expected consequences of an action. There are short term strategies for gain (theft) and there are long term strategies for gain (honest business). The chronologically longer the scope of the strategy, the more ethical it is.
Becoming a threat to another (especially your target demographic) will increase the chances of your demise.
Finding mutually beneficial relationships will increase the chances fo your prosperity.
Argument in favor of "ethics"
1.You'll stick around longer.
Complicated at first, simple as hell once you get the basics.
