I haven't seen very many zombie movies, but I always wonder why the zombies don't resort to eating eachother?
Thoughts?
"Facts"?
Thanks!

The answer depends on who you ask, some say that Zombie's are after any living thing, but the belief I have taken to be comfortable to be the truth is that they feed off live braincells.

The reason they wouldnt feed off each other is cause they cant sence each other, its like a shark, yea the sea is full of live fish, but he is only zoned into the one that is bleeding.

Now my question about Zombie's are, how long does it actually take for them to be able to "Turn" cause with just about every movie its different.

I hope that little imput helped

Zombies don't eat each each other because they thrive not just on flesh but on FEAR -human fear released into the body reportedly adds a flavor to the flesh that Zombies adore. Sort of like A1 sauce for Gouls. I'll stick with ketchup.

Zombies dont see other zombies, they are basicly dead humans with only the basic motor skills to eat so the try to find fresh brains and meat for food

Monkeyjunk, this is not a silly question...it's interesting actually; now like everyone has answered you, zombies are dead but gravitate towards the living - to eat them up!

These are the facts: zombies only crave living flesh and brains. They have a really good sense of smell which leads them to human meat. They don't eat animals either because it is human flesh they desire.

I think it all started with George Romero's "Night of the Living Dead" (1968). Before that zombies didn't eat brains. Great movie.

haha, I love zombie movies and vampire ones too. About your question, I think zobies don't eat each other because like animals they are physically made to only want to eat things that are under them in the food chain. Just like lions won't eat lions, zombies won't eat zombies either.

They prefer living flesh and fully functioning brains, their brains function on pure impulse. Plus they are unaware of other undead beings in the area they seek only to eat living warm flesh.

Because that would be Cannibalism.

That would not only gross out a zombie, it'd gag a maggot.
