and that are easy-reads?

If you want to see a movie or two, I liked "Saved" with Jena Malone and Mandy Moore. "Kingdom of Heaven" with Orlando Bloom.

resurrection by Leo Tolstoy

Its not anti-god, but its anti-religion. I assume a novel would be easier to read than one of those books.

ps. Theism, atheism, theodicy, theology, etc. aren't really easy topics so something easy might just leave you further in the dark about what you're trying to find or discredit.

Try reading "Apes, Men, and Language" by Eugene Linden.
It's not for or against religion, but speaks volumes about them just the same. Mainly by reinforcing the fact that we are a part of this world and not created to be at the top of it.

I'm always on here dropping the name of The Sirens Of Titan by Kurt Vonnegut. It's a novel, but it puts it all in perspective pretty well.

For a very funny, very sarcastic book, try Mark Twain's
"Letters from Earth".
