Because they would rather spend that 3000 dollars on somthing that lasts a couple of hours instead of doing something productive with it.
Why not help out charities that help kids or animals. Atleast it would be making a difference in someone or somethings life.

It's called the laws of supply and demand.
If they put the tickets on sale and the show sales out, there is a strong demand and a limited supply of seats so they can charge higher prices.
If people decided not to pay so much for tickets and refused to go, the prices would go down because of a lower demand.

I agree. It really makes me mad that the Disney company has lowered itself to Hannah Montana. Walt's probably spinning in his grave right now. Disney channel used to be family oriented and now its just for teens.

I cannot imagine any parent shelling out $3,000 for a concert ticket for their child. Talk about spoiled rotten!

I think I would do something like that to make my girls happy;but if it was for myself I would never pay that much for concert tickets;but if you're a parent you'd know what I'm talking about.

Because she is the "in" thing right now. If something is popular, spoiled children will ask and ask their parents for tickets until they buy them. Kind of like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. "But DADDY, I want an Umpa Lumpa, and I want it NOW".
