you should know by now that that AP polls or what ever they are called are jacked up. Last weeks polls really pissed me off.

They beat two top 25 teams. One top 20 and one top 5. WVU is no pushover, and Auburn (as most consider the SEC to be the toughest conference in the nation) is very tough to beat. They were undefeated, unlike many teams in the country, but like many top 25 teams they fall to an unranked opponent. Just because Oklahoma fell to Colorado by a field goal doesn't mean they don't desrve to be considered one of the best teams in the nation. They lost to a conference foe. A team that proved to be very challenging last season and a team that still is guided by a heisman candidate. Rutgers is not a fluff opponent. Get over it. Big East is a little overrated, but they didn't deserve the spot. As the sportscasters said during this game, "they got there by default."

Cincinnati had the longest home game winning streak in the NCAA before last week. The polls are weekly. People don't understand that for some reason. USF was the number 2 team this week. Next week, it will go to someone else. If this was the first USF game you have watched, don't comment because they are a very good team. Plus, if you watched the game tonight, you should know that. If you saw the final score online and glanced at their schedule, then there is no room to talk.

Hey, for a program that was working out of trailers 9 years ago, they did pretty well. They got a #2 ranking. That's more than some programs that have been around a lot longer can say. But the fairy tale is over, and now they are back where they belong, out of the national spotlight.

They beat WVU and jumped from like 18 to 6 in one week. The last couple weeks of upsets ahead of them helped to move them higher.

Well, USF did beat WVU and Auburn, however, I think they are worth no more than top 20, and their loss to Rutgers was on my predictions list.

funny, 2 days ago everyone was talking about how they should be ahead of the Buckeyes
and teams that lose to Colorado, Stanford, and Oregon State, dont deserve to be up there...but fans of these teams will cry for their team as well
a playoff = no cry babies

The win over West Virginia propelled them, but as is obvious, they weren't the 2nd best team in the country.
Of course, I told people this all week, but got thumbs down for poo-pooing the mighty Bulls.

because they, like ohio state and boston college are lucky that every team ahead of them lost a game. you cant tell me that those 3 teams are better than LSU or OU or even Kentucky. i even think Cal is better than those 3 teams. these rankings are horrible.
