Curious to know how many people sit out and admire the stars at night?

i love it
i live outside of a small little city in rural louisiana...
as goes the cliche' we have a bayou running through the city
my family built a wonderful three level deck leading down to the bayou,
on cool nights when the mosquitos arent out for blood,
it is the most amazing site to see the stars in the sky
as well as the stars reflected in the water

I have,nt looked at the stars for along time. But we are coming into summer and this year I will take the time.
I used to love doing it as a kid when I was camping on the farm. It is quite a spiritual feeling, very serene and beautiful.
I feel looking at the sky and stars on a beautiful night, makes you feel special, great to be alive..

Whenever I get the chance like when I'm in the country and you can see the stars really good, I like to sit outside and peer up at them.

I find it relaxing and it helps me put things in perspective. Sometimes when you've got alot going on in your life and you're stressing out, putting importance on dumb things, it's nice to look up and realize that we all live on this tiny blue dot in a huge universe.

Thats someone I really love doing, that one of the reasons I want to go back to NC, where one can see many stars.

i do admire, why, because I do realize how small we are, how small our planet is. how fragile and stupid we are :) we are screweing our home. but again, when I look at stars I them as beauty of creation.

I have in several places on this planet,and it is awesome...I think we are not alone,I just like to look and wonder does anyone or something look at us........
