how can i permanenetly delete files that have been downloaded on my laptop. coz some friend told me that eventho i have deleted them on the internet options they will still be saved on my disk. i just want to know how can i delete them... thanks

softwares are called data wiper. That will provide you options to delete for ever. Even if you shift + delete. The file can be retrieved by 80%. If you those tools buzz me on chat or mail me i will send you the tools

from Internet Explorer (IE)
1 go to menu Tool-->Internet Options
2 On tab General, in Temperary Internet Files. Click "Delete files"
3. A dialog box open. Check on "Delete all Offline content"
and press OK
that's all

Deleted files can be retrieved, but only by some one with expensive electronic equipment, and why would they bother?. I wouldn't worry about it.

while holding shift
right click on the file you want to delete
click on delete
