The crush I had in my teen years can't compare to the gravatational pull Robert DeNiro had on me when I saw Taxi Driver.
Who knows where an attraction originate?

What, they were brothers? One was an Englishman and the
other one wasn't. How does she know this is fact?
Well anyway, I too had a crush on Errol. And I've heard the
interview with Olivia on why she never married him. He was
much like a shy boy pulling g little girls braids to get her attention. She saw the swashbuckler Errol. So they were an
item of sorts, until she saw he wouldn't be the man she wanted him to be 'with her'. But he was the he man figure
with other ladies however. With her, he was a gentleman. And
she was always the lady. After all, she couldn't help her up
bringing, and growing up with sophistication and money. Her
family had their summer home in Los Gatos, Calif. a town of
old family money. Anyway, I can see his movies over and
over again. I'm not much for Gunga Din tho. He was looking
so bad from his alcoholism by then, and swollen in the face.
I first had a crush on Robert Wagner when I was about 13
and had seen him in a movie. Later, I would meet a man who
I saw in him, Robert Wagner and marry.
I also had a crush on Clint Eastwood when he played Rowdy Yates on Rawhide. And Glenn Ford was another. I
love to see all of his movies, clear back to when he had the
curly hair he always disliked. That's why he wore it short after
that all his life. More like a flattened crew cut of sorts. Some-
one stole his favorite cowboy hat when he was very old and
he was so upset about that. He reported it stolen and my
daughter who worked for the Autry Museum in LA took the
call when he called there. And he was very distraught. She
never heard if it was ever recovered. He made alot of westerns wearing that favorite hat.
I guess my biggest crush was on Elvis. Who was my
last screen crush as a young woman. Funny, but when I
was young I never dreamed of him. Not once. But now that
I'm older, guess who pops into a dream now and then? Now
I wonder why that is?

Yul Brynner. I was only young but I could still appreciate a fine figure of a man.

I remember a scene in Anna and the King when he literally grabbed Deborah Kerr around the waist and stared into her eyes before whisking her around the room in that famous waltz.
That look he gave her melted the bones in my body. Still does WOW what a man!!!!
