Words Associated With Australia

2016-11-04 12:31:56 · answer #2 · answered by franciose 4 · 0 0

There are many things that are
associated with Australia including
many friends that I have met on Yahoo Answers.
I suppose when you first think about that continent,
pictures of kangaroos come into mind.
For us in the USA, I'm sure we all think about the movie "Crocodile Dundee", which by the by,
was a very funny flick.
Some of us remember Johnny Carson
and some of the animal babies
they used to bring on his show.
I remember Marlin Perkins
and the Mutual of Omaha,
Animal program that showed animals from all over.
The little ones that I remember
were some like the Golden Opossum,
kangaroos, of course, platypus,
the Qantas Koala Bears,
the kiwi bird, bush babies, and other strange animals.
And Bill Erwin and his family.
I also think about the Aborigines,
the natives of he continent.

Edit:
And most important:
"Waltzing Matilda"
