Ellen Degeneres Hair Stylist

Mutts and Moms Rescue did give the hairdressers family the chance to adopt Iggy the right way. The attorney for Mutts and Moms was on Fox news and he has emails saying the hairdressers family wouldn't fill out the adoption application, and didn't want to return home for the home visit to be done. They were given the chance to do it the right way by Mutts and Moms, but because they had the power of Ellen DeGeneres behind them, they didn't do what was necessary to adopt Iggy, legally from M&M. If someone yanked you around like that, and wouldn't follow procedure when given the chance to do so, I'm sure you would have done exactly what Mutts and Moms did, and take the dog back.

Yes! I understand that legally Ellen signed a document stating that she's give the dog back, but come on... overall, the dog had a loving home... why upset Ellen, the family, and the dog by taking it away? It seems obvious that under the conditions, the dog should not have been taken away so that it could temporarily go back to the shelter and then be given to complete strangers again.

No I can say that for sure . the hairstylists home looked to be clean and nice and the kids were very well behaved . so I dont see what the problem was other than ellen did not read a paper . Okay so what big deal ,fine her whatever just leave the dog in the nice home that it was in and forget all the drama . If you ask me the rescue agency brought all those death threats on themselves by bringing the media and the police . What you sew ,so shall you reap . good luck .

i think.. ellen and partner should have read the rules more closely. however what was done was done. therefore a real professional.. would have checked out the people ellen gave the dog too.. realized the pooch was living the good life.. with a cute little girl in the house. then moved on.. to place another deserving dog. can we spell..compromise...boys and girls. but now the damage has been done,. the dog gets adjusted and boom..he gets moved again? just leave him there. ellen should get the little girl another dog and move on. for the record i really like ellen.. alot..

Yes the agency does care.
I understand their rule of adoption is to
only let Dogs as small as Iggy be adopted
by a person, or family, and If they have children,
they need to be fourteen years
of age or older, because little Dogs like
Iggy can get hurt so easy.
If there is a problem with the adopted dog,
it needs to be returned to the agency.

That's their rule as I understand it.
It's not for some,
it's for EVERYONE.

I think the dog should have stayed with the family that wanted the dog and already had built a relationship with. The agency that took the dog back didn't have the dog's best interest in mind.

yes of course -no doubt about it she did nothing wrong but found another caring home where she knew she could still have contact with iggy and he was loved. this is ridiculous. why didnt the agency re-adopt him to the family. this is how all our society works pure HIPOCRACY-Ellen should ask for her dog back and say they were only babysitting him.

They shouldn't give Ellen the dog back... they should give Ellen's hairstylist the dog back. That's who Ellen gave the dog to. The poor hairstylists' daughter was devastated after the dog was taken away from them.
