Oh Denie, you know I don't belive in it, but I would never insult you. Even if I thought you had a screw loose, I would always stick up for you.

Both on Yahoo Answers and other areas people have been very decent and reasonable. For the most part you get what you give in the way of respect. I wouldn't want or expect everyone to agree with my point of view, and on some occasions opinions are referred to in unflattering ways, but I don't remember any name calling.
Besides, if it's a name calling contest they want, I can more than hold my own! I'm from Jersey, Baby! You don't want any of this! Oh no, you don't!

Nope, not at all. I became aware of my Spiritualism back in 2001 and I only care to share my experiences/gifts etc with those I know I can trust. Hardly any of my family knows what I've experienced and the friends I do have are the same.
I can only talk to fellow believers as I know there are many that dont share the same standpoint.

sure I have and modesty prevents me from repeating them in an open forum. We actually get several ugly emails a day from time to time. But it is alright. I am sure that long ago when people were discovering alot of things the mainstream called impossible got called a few names as well.

Calling "names" is not something I like to do. I try to avoid getting in that kind of frame of mind. But I don't think calling a believer gullible, etc., is any more "calling names" than a believer calling a skeptic closed-minded. Both are statements of opinion, not mere ad hominem for the sake of ad hominem.
But I am outright against calling anybody a poopy-head. So there.

No, as I am not one of those easily suggestible fools who believe in the paranormal like you. I hope this helps.
Come on, that was too easy. You walked right into that one. You set 'em up, I'll knock 'em down.

People love to hear me tell my 'ghost stories' but I suspect they call me 'weird' behind my back! Oh, well. If you haven't experienced it, you probably would be a non-believer, so let them name-call and smirk; I actually feel 'special' that I can experience so much! :)

Just the normal junk here at yahoo answers. Just about everyone else I meet believe in ghosts too. Some of my friends call me a witch when were goofing around.

No one ever called me names for believing in this... Not everyone believes, so there have been pro and con type discussions about different instances ~ but, never any name calling............

i find the only insults come from here,( in yahoo )....like take your medication, and double up on it...i dont talk about it much out of here, only share it with others who have experienced the same, or anything else they might of seen, or felt...i come here, to try and get more of an understanding of it all, and see what others have experienced...
