Absolutely. I dated a guy from 1979-1982. I eventually married someone else (because he couldn't commit and I moved on with my life.) I have now been married 24 years and have 3 children. Even though I love my husband dearly, I still have feelings for the guy I dated way back when. I'd probably pass out if I ever saw him after all these years. I still wonder what he is doing and where he is.

Yes, short story an ex of mine who i was still pissed off at about the way things ended between us came to my house out of the blue one day just showed up. and after so long you make up ideas in your head about how you would tell them off if you had the chance. didn't happen all i could do was give him the daggers while he stood there and talked to me. something inside saved that mans life seeing his face brought everything i loved about him back and i hated that
