Yes,I do! The woman who runs the rescue is being childish and unreasonable, taking Iggy away from a loving home! Ellen made a mistake, but so did that woman. She needs to give the dog back to those little girls.

they're making an example out of her. The name of the adoption company is RUINED! I don't care that Ellen didn't call them first... she found a good home for the dog. And the poor girls got attached...

I just love her heart. This always happens to good people. She only wanted to do her best for this puppy. Now look it. Give the puppy back to the little girl. It's not like she gonna have it for dinner or something sick as that or worse!! So STUPID!! Retarded!! What the F****! It seems to me the company is just having a power trip.. I don't think they really give a dam* about the puppy.

I don't respect Ellen after this. It goes to show you that even if you break the rules as a celebrity, you can still get what you want and/or ruin some who is just doing their job. She should have followed the rules and if she wasn't sure about giving the dog to her friend, she should have called the organization instead of taking matters into her own hands. Great way to destroy someone's reputation Ellen.

I like Ellen too, I have great respect for her as a comedian.
--Here comes my Ellen dis everybody--
This issue confirms for me her selfishness though -- I mean using her celebrity status to bend the rules in her favor? She needs to keep her damn personal issues private and not demonize M&M publically, bankrupting and destroying their business probably (and thereby condemning every dog in that shelter to death perhaps due to boycotts of M&Ms business).
Here's a tip for celebrites who want respect and please, if any are watching please drink this in:
--use your power as a celebrity for a good cause, to help people without media influence, but DO NOT use the national media for your own personal agenda. THAT is as selfish as you can get, ESPECIALLY if it's about something so mundane as a contract violation.
"Boohoo sob sob" (says Ellen on TV) "please fans, please fix my problem because I can't fix it myself!" Take it to the back room Ellen and KEEP IT PRIVATE.

No. We don't all love her. I hope I don't get in trouble for this, but my friends and I don't think that she is funny and simply don't like her. This last incident proves to us we're right. You asked "Don't we all", but not all people do.
As is said above, she didn't follow the rules. Also, why didn't the family simply go to the rescue center and adopt the dog officially? Instead of her making a scene and putting pressure on this place that is trying to do a good job, she caused them to be bombarded by calls, letters and emails threatening the place or simply angry at them. But, it's DeGeneres' fault because she did break the rules of an officially signed contract.
