who do you think they will go after

Fleury is their guy. He isn't going anywhere.

To the poster who mentioned about Huet not getting traded and throwing Price into the fire should know that when they mention the Habs trading a goalie, they are probably not referring to either. There is alot of interest in Halak and Yann Denis was their best goalie in pre-season. Halak is thought by those in the know to be NHL ready but he is stuck behind Huet and Price in the AHL so that is who they are talking about.

Senators: Emery is NOT a RFA. He's signed through 2010. He's also not cold - he simply hasn't played a game due to injury. So while Gerber may be making a case for the starting job, Emery is more likely the goaltender of the future for Ottawa. Also, the cap hit on Emery is just 500K less than Gerber - he's not all that cheap.

Leafs: If Ferguson can get the Penguins to bite on Raycroft he'd be a better GM than most give him credit for. Toskala is the furture for the Leafs right now, and anyone who bites on Raycroft is either desparate or stupid. I don't think the Penguins are either.

Canadians: Price is the future in Monteal, but I don't think they would want to move Huet this season as Price is just 19 and probably isn't ready to be thrown feet first into the fire.

Bryzgalov in Anaheim will probably be the first netminder moved this season...

Mark-Andre Fleury is the No.1 net-minder for the Pens but what they did to him in the past two weeks is there putting his confidence down by sitting him this early in the season. they where 1-2 before meeting Toronto last weekend and had the hole week off and then start Sabourin big mistake, Crosby didn't score a goal till that night and they didn't sit Crosby. over the year I have seen goalies career's cut short because bad coaching decisions and and doing things like this to a young goalie can hurt is confidence. Fleury should be playing 60 to 70 games and the team will just get better throughout the year, knows not the time to get all panicky after only playing 4 to 5 games.

GO HABS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I was at the bar when I saw this tonight so I couldn't really hear what they were talking about. From just the caption they put up, analysts on TSN thinks it should be the Sens, Leafs, or Habs who are going to trade. Personally, I think it should be the Sens and they should give up Emery. Gerber's hot and I think he will continue to be, while Emery's cold and, for a lack of a better term, damaged goods. Also, it'll be really hard to get rid of Gerber since he's got such a huge contract. Emery's a quality goalie, but at a much lower price tag (plus, he's a restricted free agent). I think the Penguins would give up a semi-nobody or a medium to high potential farm player and a draft pick.

Sorry, bad grammar and communication skills on my part. He was a restricted free agent last off-season.

Uhhhh... That would be a rumor. Rumor as in... speculated.

I wouldn't be surprised if Shero's shopping, but I just heard Therrien say yesterday or the day before that while he thought Dany Sabourin could have been better Saturday in Toronto, he's still confident in Sabourin's ability and knows what he's capable of. So I'm going to believe it's he and Fleury for the long-haul until it's officially said that it could be otherwise.

It's early yet. And the Pens' schedule was a KILLER to start. There was too many days in between games, so it was hard for the guys to get used to the rigors of playing games MENTALLY. I do believe they finally have their heads in the game. They showed a lot of energy and emotion in Wednesday's game against the Devils. They just need to find a way to win now.

Marc Andre is a nice kid but highly overatted. Sabourin is a career minor leaguer. Why don't they just sign Tom Barrasso and Ken Wregget?
