I will be voting for Obama, but you will vote for whom you choose, and thats okay. It is a personal decision. Do you ask others to tell you how to feel?
Voting is as personal an opinion as I can think of, and your vote belongs to you. Keep that vote and put it where you want to, don't let anyone take that away from you.
And the last census that was taken is erroneous. The Black count is still over 35% of this country. Margaret Sanger did not get her way. Take a look around you, the ghettos are not White and Black anymore, they have moved out and are living in better homes and neighborhoods, leaving their old neighborhoods because of the illegal aliens that have moved in. But to hear a Mexican tell it, they are taking over the country, and that will never happen.
In the spirit of good will, I understand what you are saying. And the Supreme races in this country are White, Black and Native Indians all that are non-Mexican, and the United States is an English speaking nation. I want our country to see a day when a president is not afraid to say that.
In closing, I want a man to sit at the helm too. This nation is known for the men who created it, and there is no way a woman should take that position of the president unless she is the best suited to be there. Rodham-Clinton is not the one, and that woman has not come to the forefront yet, if she ever will. No offense to you, but we might be looking at an Obama/Edwards ticket, so get prepared. The woman running is not qualified to run our country, she still needs her husband to take up for her, and that's all the proof I needed.
Have a good evening.

I would vote for a black or woman if I felt they were qualified to do the job. I don't agree that whites are the "supreme race" and I'm white. Your argument that the President should not be black because only 10% of the country is black is faulty because it assumes that is the only criteria. The President is the CEO of the country and therefore should have some real-world CEO experience. Lifetime politicians usually have little or none and should be disqualified from running, in my opinion.

There are as many people who will vote for obama because he is black as will vote against him for the same reason. As far as the Clinton's are concerned I think they are a bunch of lying thieves. What exactly does obama stand for? He will not say. Hillary is just another tax and spend democrat. As for John Edwards. I don't think he has sense enough to pour piss out of a boot with directions on the heel of it. The republicans aren't much better. Because of our sitting president we now pay $3.00 a gallon for gas. He has lied and failed to protect us against illegals coming in to this country. That was one of his first big campaign promises. But since his sister -in-law is a Mexican He wants an amnesty program that will and is breaking the back of our country's infrastructure. We don't have much hope of even getting a half way decent president.

I can't believe what I am reading in this day and time. You mean to say that if a person is not a white male you would not vote for them whether they are the best qualified? That is unbelievable.
I would vote for anyone who is qualified no matter what party, sex, or race.
Here's a little secret-Obama was raised by his white granparents in a Christian home. I consider him white if I had to chose a race for him. Try to look pass color and sex in the future, you might miss out on a good politician if you don't.

I think whoever is President of the US should know at least enough about the Constitution to know what the job of President is, and should have a working concept of "Freedom".
That pretty much rules out anyone that thinks any kind of Universal Health Care is a good idea.

Obama's race is really a non factor. It was made an "issue" earlier in the year , but suprisingly, it was more of an issue in the democratic( pro racial equality) party and virtually went unnoticed on the republican side. I would vote for a woman but odds are it wont be hilary.

Well we had better make sure we never have a blonde of left handed president either - they are minorities as well. Oops - too late - and the country didn't fall apart either.
Race is only an issue when racists make it one.

I dont agree with what little ideas Obama has presented and women react with emotions and not logic (atleast from my experiences). So, no to a woman president
