Ok from my overall installations of dsl which i do about 30 a week, the best option is to test your line filter. Assuming the filter isn't faulty after initial tests try get a central filter installed. Remember that every device thats connected onto your phone line usesa % of its power and if you shove to many on you wont get a response. Try removing any devices such as faxes, extra phones, alarm system back to base calling devices and just run the modem and the phone and give your house a ring and see if it cuts out.
If that all happens request a line test by your isp to see if their are issues between you and your dsl line carrier. You should also see if you can find the statistics on your modem for the amount of line attenuation in decebels and noise margin and report that to your isp as well. The higher it is the more likely chance things will not work properly.
Hope this helps

Are you on a wireless router and is it a wireless phone? It could be that the router and the phone is on the same RF frequency or channel. The phone actually has a stronger signal since it's made to be accessible for a longer distance than the internet router. So when the phone is activate, it overrides the signal for the internet. You can change the channel on your router and fix this problem. I would suggest looking up the FAQs on the manufacturer's website for the router.

Make sure eveything that is connected to your phoneline has a DSL filter attached (Except the modem!)
Make sure all filters are plugged in the right way.
If you still get the problem, try and isolate the fault by unplugging the phones/faxes/answering machines one by one.
Once you find the device which is causing the problem, try 'piggy backing' two filters together. If that doesnt work, maybe the device is faulty.
Hope this helps!

If you have the dsl on the same line as your phone, you need a dsl filter for the phones, check those, otherwise can be the modem for the dsl.

The frequency of the phones (I Expect those are wireless phones) interference with your router signal. A "newer and higher frequency" or "older and lower frequency" phones will resolve the problem.

the frequency of your wirless card, may be the same as the frequency your phone uses. I had to switch to a 5.8 GHz cordless phone, because it was interfereing with my wirless connection.
