I had a huge break-out on my forehead and my friend told me to apply toothpaste overnight. I can't believe I listened to her!!!

Now I have a huge dry patch on my forehead. The acne is still there, but it's not raised, so I can't get rid of it. And the skin around it is dry and leathery and pink. [just the top layer though]

I exofiliate twice a day, apply vitamin E gel from the soft capsules, eat a flaxseed and vitamin E capsule everyday, and it doesn't seem to be getting a whole lot better. It's been two days.

What can I do and how long will this last??? I'm so embarrassed! I've been wearing my bangs down to cover up my forehead but you can still tell that the skin is really bad right now.

makeup makes it look worse because you can tell how it's peeling and dry and gross.

and my bangs don't cover the whole patch of dry skin, only half. :[

HELP.

how long will it take for my skin to be normal? and how can i help CURE it, not hide it?

Lol, I am sure you are a teen ager having the prob as opthers. Its natural. But still you must consult some dermatologist, instead of getting help from other unreliable sources.
Best luck!!

You could try putting aloe vera gel on it. I love that stuff, it makes burns feel cool and it helps them heal. You can buy it at a drugstore or grocery stores like QFC and Safeway.

Toothpaste does dry out pimples. Just cover it with makeup until it goes away. Also, try cocoa butter.
