no, i don't like her anymore. and right now she is one of the hottest stars and can say whatever she wants, but soon, the same thing will happen to her as any other star, she'll be replaced by the next young hot thing.
i embrace other cultures, especially my own.
and i have been working since i was 16 and am in college along with many other hispanics. why would i only want to speak english? i'm proud to know 3 languages.
i wouldn't speak ill of my culture by making generalizations. (no i have not been popping out any babies)
i have green eyes white skin and dark blonde hair. i have to tell people i'm mexican, and i do because i'm proud of my last name AND where my family originated.
that said, she should be proud of her french danish ancestry too.

i think she's just pointing out that people now aren't much of a racist like it was before. you can't help it that her grandpa just wanted his family to be accepted by society so it must have been really hard for her before.

It would probably have been a good idea to have quoted her to make your point. Some people watch news, some weather, some celebrities, game shows etc. Not everyone cares what some actor had to say nor have any idea what she had to say.
