I was wondering what type of CEO to invite to a business club that is held at our school. How would i be able to convince a CEO to come, and who would be a good choice?

We would appreciate relatively well-known companies, but we understand that getting those CEOs to come is more difficult.

We are in Southern California. Thank you

You are in luck, living in Southern California. You have access to lots of big cities (home to lots of CEOs!). Sometimes the most accessible and interesting speakers are CEOs of start-up companies. CEOs love talking about themselves, and more than that love generating good press. For these reasons, you should have no problem getting a CEO to come on-site as a "guest speaker" and do a positive "community service."
I would recommend looking online for businesses that are based out of nearby cities and then contacting those companies that interest you.

Look for companies that are headquarted near you. Maybe Disney...

Why don't you talk to the Vice President of Development at your college? you are in college, aren't you? They probably know alumni and others who might be interested in the school. Are there company leaders on the school's board of trustees?
