Its such a long story as to why he just started this after working for him for just over a year. Basicly .....he had me working extra to remodel his new office. removeing carpet ,stripping and refinishing a 50 + year old fireplace mantle ,2 door frames,and 2 window seals. Sometimes he kept me there for 15 hours a day. Not only did I have to do all that, I also had to do his grocery shopping ,(his housekeeper had a heart attack ( go figure) running him all over town ( lowes,ollies,furniture stores,cleaners,............AND using my car !! And never offering me gas money. Having to borrow money for gas from my mom, $75 one week ! Between 40 - $75 weekly to run him around . I worked an extra 98 hours in 5 weeks on top of my 15 I normaly work cleaning the church, which I had to fit in.
He knrw I was working all these hours,but when it came down to paying me he took a fit and yelled at me for taking too long to do the room ! So now im on the hit list. No respect , everything i do is wrong

I want to quit but I think I need proof as to how bad it is.Id want show the employment office That I quit because of abuse.

I recommend that you carry a very small recorder. Radio Shack has some very good ones.
Buy a small recorder that you can conceal and let it record when you are talking with him.
It sounds like you have a good case for back wages that he has not paid you.

Keep a log book of dates and times of when he is abusive. Note any witnesses to the situation.

Come to DC. Cleaning people make more money than a lawyer.
