Replication starts with one DNA molecule and ends up with two DNA molecules. It doesn't matter if it's mitosis or meiosis. Replication is the same in both processes.

I love biology and lots of other things. It's very logical. Replicate is about the same as duplicate. It means making a copy. Start with one, end up with two.

i believe its 2 copies in Mitosis and 4 copies in Meiosis. but it should also be in your bio book...i don't know a website.
