Apparently the big headbands were trendy in the 90s.?

Question

I do remember wearing them as a kid and when I caught a glimpse of a scene from a syndicated 90s show today I realized one of the characters was wearing a big headband with her bangs pushed back and it went all the way around. I remember those, but I've also noticed in the past year or two they became popular again. Who started the recent trend? What designer or celebrity?

I do have 4 of them myself.

I have no idea who started the trend up again. I do know and remember that they were really big in mid-80's early part of the 90's but by about 93 or so they faded away. Ha I remember the girls with the head bands and teases bangs back in the 80's wow!!
