What do you think about their turnaround?

First it is early so don't start lining up for playoff tickets just yet. Next, yes they look good but the truth is that Flyers weren't so bad the last few months of last year and may even have had a winning record after they got Biron. So you tell me, did the Sabres trade the wrong goalie just because the other one was younger?

Nothing. It's too early to praise their rise to the top. A lot of teams start great and flop later. A lot of teams start slowly and end up on fire at the end of the season. That's not to say they won't be solid all year, but there is no reason to think it is anything significant this early. They practically have a new team, and that in itself is enough to bolster the performance of a team for awhile. We'll see where they are around the all-star break. I'll tell you one thing: I'm not sold on Biron yet, just because of his hot start. He has proven to be streaky before, and had ample opportunity to take over the starting spot in Buffalo before Miller came along. It'll take more than one hot month to prove that he's the real deal.

First things first... Miller is the better goalie hands down, but Biron is really a solid minder who is red hot right now.

The Flyboys have scoring from all of their lines... they have been solid 5 on 5 and on the P kill. This team looks like Buff from last year. Also they are still waiting on Upshall to come back.

Great game coming against Carolina this Saturday and then a long road trip. If they play well on that trip, then you know that they are for real.

GET FLY-ERED UP!

No way the Sabre's should have kept Biron over Miller. They didn't trade him because he was younger it was because Biron could not win the job. The Sabre's gave him every chance to do so. NJ wont come back many times from 3 goals down and Atlanta's not that good, but a shut out is a shut out. Still its a long season.

Impressive, but let's wait (and hope) it lasts. Biron was the key deal for them. He was always overshadowed in Buffalo, and I never knew why. I would have dealt Miller long ago and stuck with Biron. He can play 60 games easily this year, and that is a good thing for the Flyers who have been huring in goal these past few years.

First things first............ Biron is better than Miller. The stats back it up and I am not just talking about this year. Miller is overrated and Biron is underrated.
Biron will probably have more shut-outs this month then Miller has had in his career for cripes sake. Miller has TERRIBLE numbers. He had some success the last couple of years because Buffalo would win games 6-4.

They're great... as long as the wind keeps blowing southeast so I don't have to smell all that Philly/Jersey air.
Mwahaha!

Well, they made great offseason acquisitions. Not to mention they basically raped Nashville and really only gave up Peter Forsberg. (Who's not playing for anyone right now anyway, but could even come back to play for Philly.)

The Atlantic Division is an exciting one to watch this season, that's for sure.

I could care less about the Flyers. The season just started.

It is not surprising. You spend money, rip off Nashville in a couple trades, and get a consistant goaltender.
