Here in the Pacific Northwest. It is on sale in the Pike Place Market in Seattle. If you know which Asian restaurants to go to, you can try a dish of geoduck. It is pronounced "gooey-duck" and has a strong flavor.

They are a species of saltwater clam.... and they are not the most beautiful critter on the planet either.... :-}

Native to the Northwest region of the US... and British Columbia, Canada.
