This sounds a little one sided. What's her story?

I am a wife, I think my husband is the greatest thing in the world. And I have a child she is 14 months old.
My husband is an adult, and realizes that children need more attention than a grown man.
You should act like an adult, a husband, and a father.

Sorry this sounds like an unpleasant surprise for you. I am a wife like that (or was my kids are older now). Unfortunately, women are programmed to care for their children by nature. I couldn't leave the house without constantly thinking about them. Don't expect to be the center of the universe for a while, but as the kids get older you will be more in the picture. You have to make an effort to keep your relationship up with your wife, but for now the kids win.

Need a few more details, but check out my latest question, very similair to this. It's sad if that's hapening regardless of the reason, bc if the two of you were working to build your marriage the children would be taken care of even better.

sounds as if you are a little jealous. There is a thing called motherly instincts. When the kids are grown and out of the house you and your wife will find each other again. But always remember the children come first. Its just nature.

Well, things do change. You're not the center of her universe anymore, but STILL, I'm sure just as important to her as before. The more you take care of the baby and the house; the more time SHE has to pay attention to you (and then, just when she thought you couldn't be more wonderful--she finds out you are!)

Bob, you should interact with her and your kids in the same situation. I would think back to a memorable date you two had in the beginning of your relationship. Bring your kids, but take her to the side and whisper something you remember saying to her when you were first dating that she will remember, then give her a kiss and go play with your kids.

wow. you sound like you are dependent on her for security. I mean, yeah, you probably are the greatest thing to her, but she has to divide her attention to your guys kid not just hers. talk to her about it. it can be that simple. but in either case give her and yourself a break.
what did you expect when you were having unsafe sex? did you expect her to get pregnant and hire some fulltime nanny so she could devote all her time to you and then you later find some reason to leave her for someone else? really, did you think about this before you had unprotected sex? curious.

I am sure she hasn't forgotten about you.....just kids end up taking over our lives since the little ones are so time consuming.
Make sure yo get a sitter at least once a week so you can have time alone. Good luck, trust me it gets better.
